Part Time Events Operations & Sales Coordinator
We are a growing financial services firm based in Atlanta, GA that hosts in-person educational classes and meets one-on-one with attendees afterward. As we increase the number of classes and follow-up meetings, we’re looking for a reliable, organized part-time contractor to help support events, scheduling, and follow-up.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys staying organized, working with people, and helping things run smoothly behind the scenes.
Role Overview
This is a part-time contractor role, estimated at 28–32 hours per month. The role focuses on:
- Supporting in-person education classes
- Coordinating appointments and follow-ups
- Handling basic CRM and data entry tasks
This role does not involve sales, financial advice, or closing clients.
Key Responsibilities
- In-person class support is required, including:
- Helping with setup and breakdown
- Checking attendees in and out
- Providing general event support
- Coordinate appointment scheduling and confirmations after classes
- Send appointment confirmations and reminders by email, text, or phone
- Enter and update attendance and appointment information in CRM systems
- Help ensure no attendees or leads fall through the cracks
Availability Requirements
- Must be available Tuesday and Thursday evenings for in-person classes
- We typically host 5–6 classes per month. Some flexibility around scheduling is required
Pay and Structure
- 30 per hour
- Paid hourly as an independent contractor
- Transportation time and mileage are not reimbursed
- In rare cases of unusually long travel, exceptions may be discussed in advance
Ideal Candidate
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable interacting with people in person and on the phone
- Reliable and punctual, especially for evening events
- Comfortable with basic technology (email, calendars, CRM tools)
- Local and able to travel to class locations in the greater Atlanta area
